WhatsApp - You and your double standards!


Dear WhatsApp,

Its been two years now and you have managed to take away something that mattered the most to me "My Privacy". Please help me understand what kind of a sadistic joke is this?
You are making a ton of monies right now and we are all happy for you. I like/love most of your services and utility wise you are unmatchable. You always connect me to my friends near-far-wherever. One quick question though, why is it that not only my friends but even unwanted people can connect with me? Not only do they have my number now, they can even see my status updates and display picture. They even know when im online and when was the last time I checked a message!
Also, I beg of you please explain why the hell cant I ever turn you off??  Now please dont mock right at me saying " why dont you buy an iPhone, chicka? " ... Hey watch your tongue mister,  I still belong to the mass and cant afford an iPhone! Honestly, what kind of a double standard is that?
Why is it that only IOS7 has certain WhatsApp related privileges that we mere mortal Android'ians dont??!
Another quick question, how on earth do you expect me to work on my Outlook when you constantly keep throwing messages right in my face?
I feel you should have been working for an international bank like Citi or JPMorgan for they take their privacy and security trainings extremely very seriously.  They would have spammed your inbox with a zillion reminders until you went online on training website and took up the umpteen trainings available on the Privacy and Security aspect of it!  Well, now that you have a new father figure in your life, I hope you will certainly come up with some welcoming changes.
Mr. FaceBook, please surprise us!!

I am currently going through a phase and have been listening to some soul stirring numbers, the kinda numbers that touch you, that sympathize with you, that soothe you, that relate to you, that stroke you, that to a point even slightly brush you off at the edges, that sometimes remind you of your mistake, which even laugh at you sadistically. I rightfully named this playlist “Autumn Greys” as the phase I’m going through is much like Autumn, all gloomy and grey !
